Thinking The Unthinkable - Preparing For The Inevitable

While some believers believe in the rapture as some quick get-away from all of the trouble now brewing on our very doorstep, many still suffer from the belief that you don't have to do anything, just like rapture believers, but the scriptures disagree.

You have come to the realization that the rapture is false, now come to the reality of what Yahweh desires you to do to actually survive the tribulation period.

Though it could not be any plainer in the word and now even more so in our lives, sitting in the middle of the street forever discussing and complaining about the Mac-Truck that is barreling down upon us will not save us from being hit by that truck. We MUST act, and move out of the way of the truck or be killed.

Yahweh is giving us clue after clue that we need to be in prayer about moving from our comfort zones or be caught in the midst of the most evil and destructive government oppression ever known to man and its end result - total annihilation from outside sources when the world finally grows tired of America's lying, deceiving global dominance agenda.

We don't even need the scriptures to tell us to flee Babylon, like the Jews in Nazi Germany did not need or have scriptures telling them they must flee their comfort zone. Circumstances alone told them, and now these same circumstances SHOUT with a loud voice to us cushy-comfy Americans - COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, but most Christians, just like the Jews in Nazi Germany will not, making every excuse possible, including great heroic religious speeches about how they're going to be brave and stay to minister to the lost, and will suffer the plagues of Babylon.

If you're so brave and spiritually strong that you're going to go against Yahweh's plea for us to come out of her and flee, then why aren't you ministering to people NOW!

This is like saying in the days of Noah, "I'm not going to get on Yahweh's ark of safety, but be brave and stay and teach the people how to swim for forty days and forty nights and then tread water for a year while the water recedes."

Snap out of it! The rapture was a big enough hurdle for us to conquer, now let's get past this latest rapture-like hurdle:

But before you go scurrying off to another country half cocked to become expatriates like so many millions who have already preceded us, attempting to escape what we perceive to be Babylon, we need to establish exactly just what and where is Babylon the Great.

There is a lot of talk about Babylon the Great being the Vatican, mostly from American Christians too in denial that it could ever be their spiritually elite country of the USA. Never mind that America fits the definition to the letter; never mind that they are right now living during the time of the construction of the Book of Revelation's IMAGE OF THE BEAST (Nazism) through state sponsored psychological warfare against its citizens, terror alerts and ever constricting civil liberties and freedom. Never mind that America is the only country even remotely talking about "chipping" its citizens with the mark of the beast. Never mind that the woman is clothed in red, white and blue, never mind that Babylon the Great is described in the Bible as a once super-rich, superpower nation; never mind that Babylon the Great is described symbolically as a woman, meaning it is a predominantly Christian nation; never mind that she is symbolic of a woman (apostate Christians) who ride the beast (government), meaning she thinks she has a say in her governments policies...and on and on and on.

Others, also mostly American Christians, attempt to say Babylon the Great is nothing more than corrupt Christian churches that we do not have to physically flee out of, but simply turn off like a spigot and do not go to her churches. Never mind that Babylon the Great is described as the world's leading trader, by land and sea, which of course immediately sinks this errant interpretation of it being simply apostate Christian churches.

However, there is an ever growing new belief that that has come to the forefront in more recent years, not by mainstream preachers and televangelists, but by many, many small, disconnected students of the scriptures and sincere truth seekers, even before the Internet made it possible for us to share all of our views, that Babylon the Great is actually the United States of America.

Dumitru Duduman, who was one of the most accepted of contemporary prophets was even instructed by Yahweh to read Jeremiah 51 and Revelation 18 as to their pointing to the United States of America.

So let's look at prophetic Babylon's definition, but first let's look at what it is not:

The Vatican

Many believe that Babylon is the Vatican, the heart of Catholicism and in that they are only partially correct because the Vatican's tentacles are much longer than most people realize. There is a connection with the Vatican and even the CIA, but there are many reasons that Babylon is not simply the Vatican.

Many say that Babylon is the Vatican because of the following verse:

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. - Revelation 17:9 KJV

Sure Rome sits on seven hills, however, the Vatican sits upon its own hill which would make it an eighth hill. Most importantly, the Vatican is not and was not the entirety of Rome, but a province of Rome, sitting upon ONE hill!

Another problem with the seven hills comparison is that the verse states seven mountains (oros), not hills (bounos). The Greek word for mountains in this verse is, from Strong's Concordance:

G3735 - oros (or'-os) ...a mountain (as lifting itself above the plain).

The Greek word for hills can be ironically found in a verse that quotes Yahshua speaking of both hills and mountains in the same sentence:

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains (oros), Fall on us; and to the hills (buonos), Cover us. - Luke 23:30 KJV

The Greek word for mountains in this verse is the same Greek word used in Revelation, but the word hills is a much different word:

G1015 - bounos (boo-nos') Probably of foreign origin; a hillock: - hill.

The prophetic meaning of mountains in Revelation equates to continents, not small hills. The United States of America has bases on all SEVEN CONTINENTS. Even if it did mean hills it could not be the Vatican because as stated, to include the Vatican in Rome's seven hills would make it eight hills, not seven.

Another problem that arises when attempting to attach the Vatican to end time Babylon is that the Vatican is not a major world merchant center with major seaports as is described about Babylon the Great, yet the scriptures say when Babylon is destroyed the merchants of the earth and those at sea weep and wail over their tremendous loss of revenue.

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots (automobiles), and slaves, and souls of men.

And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought.

And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. - Revelation 18:9-19 KJV

In this passage of scripture alone we can see that this is NOT speaking of the Vatican or the destruction of Catholicism, but a once rich trading nation that has international sea ports that trades with the entire world.

But some say, it says city and not nation. The Greek word for city is polis, the word we get our word politics from, which means a population center, for example, the UNITED STATES of America is a large population center or polis. Early polis' were ruled by kings and the next step up from a polis was an empire. So to think that the word city means the same thing that we call cities today is an error. By the archaic definition, America could also be called a city or polis.

City-states seem to have been ruled by kings, with councils of noblemen for advisors, as we see in the Epic of Gilgamesh... but by about 300 BC, most of the city-states had been swallowed up into big empires.

What if the Vatican was destroyed? It would simply be rebuilt, and if the Pope was killed in the destruction they would simply elect a new one and Catholicism would continue on, but there would be no great loss of global commerce and no reason for the merchants of the earth to weep over the smoke of its burning due to lack of profits. As we have learned throughout history and more recently the endless global war on terror, you cannot bomb a major religion out of existence! To attempt to do so would only cause it to flourish, not diminish.

Mother of Harlots - Some say that Babylon is the Vatican because she is called the mother of harlots, but in so saying most Christians don't realize that they would be self accusing their protestant heritage, as all Protestantism came out of Catholicism, making Catholicism the mother of all other harlot churches. This would include all protestant Christian sects and denominations.

However, if this description, "mother of harlots" were Babylon the Great's only trait, then it could be plausible that indeed it very well could be the Catholic church, but "mother of harlots" is only one of many traits that I have already mentioned which the Catholic church does not fulfill.

Babylon the Great must be an entity that fills the entire measure of every single Biblical description, not just one or two, thus this one trait that sounds like it could fit the Vatican could not be speaking of the Catholic church, but the apostate, politically infiltrated brand of Christianity that was spread throughout the world by charlatan American preachers and evangelists, which would point to America being the mother of the harlot brand of Christianity spread throughout the world spoken of in this verse.

This look at the Vatican vs. Babylon also demonstrates that Babylon cannot mean simply an apostate religious system for the same reasons, but an apostate NATION!

Could Babylon be a literal city? A singular city, no matter how major, if utterly destroyed could not fulfill the definition of Babylon, even if that city was New York, the hub of the world.

Wall Street and major corporate data is transmitted and backed up daily off-site and stored deep in under ground vaults beneath mountains, so the mere destruction of a singular city could be rebuilt and data restored in the same or a new location if need be. The collection agents would be back in business in a couple of weeks harassing you. No, the destruction of Babylon is a non-restorable, huge event that effects commerce worldwide until the return of Yahshua.

There is only one conclusion left, it is a country, but which country? It is a country that:

  Creates The Image Of The Beast

• The government of Babylon sets out to create an image of a former evil government that was thought long dead because the "head" of that government suffered a deadly wound by the sword (war; Hitler; Nazism). They use this former government ideology as a COPY or IMAGE for their road map to "CHANGE" the current government more towards fascism and a dictatorship.

Now I know there are those who wish to flee Babylon, but are unable to for various reasons. The answer also lies in:

1. Receiving the information.
2. Praying about what you have seen, heard and read.
3. Ask Yahweh to provide what is necessary for you to be obedient and safe.
4. Ask Yahweh for His protection of you and your family.
5. TRULY surrender your lives to Him or He will be helpless to help you.
6. Be willing to flee if you are moved upon to do so.
7. Do not attempt to make excuses or concoct rapture-like fairy tales within your mind of how you're going to stay and weather the storm because you are actually too fearful and faithless to leave your comfort zones.
